In our camps international volunteers will always meet local volunteers. Each camp has 2 local group leaders. Volunteers work not more than 30 hours per week. We also provide cultural program, excursions and cite seeing. Volunteers, who are eager to visit Moscow or St.-Petersburg, have to plan it before or after camp days – we don’t plan visits to cities further than 200 km away from the camp location.
Many Russian volunteers want to take part in the festival, so that a competition is 5 candidates per place. Selection criteria are as follows: ability to use tools (hammer, saw, electrical instruments as well), adaptability (living in tents, no fear toward different weather and basic living conditions) and motivation, of course! The volunteers should be aware that the work on the festival is hard and mostly not limited by working hours!
